About Me
I'm Miri. I'm a knitter living and working in rainy Glasgow. I design and make unique Fairisle kippot/yarmulkes using second-hand Shetland wool. I have been knitting for most of my life but I fell in love with Jewish culture more recently, shortly after falling in love with my Jewish partner. I want to make one-of-a-kind, joyful kippot that serve and celebrate the vibrant diversity of the Jewish community. In my spare time, I love to roam around the Scottish highlands, taking inspiration for colours and patterns from the wild and beautiful landscape.
Most of my kippot will be made ready to buy on the website but if you have your eye on a design that's sold out or would like a particular colour combination, please let me know and I'll see what I can do!
